“Kɔli” the name of a precious bead, is also the name that is sometimes given to a girl of extreme beauty. In this short play, a young man by the name Alini wins the love of Kɔli by means of a charm. In the process, Kɔli runs away from home and goes into the bush, only to be taken captive by some kind dwarfs who live in the Late Valley.
Alini sets out to enquire about the fate of Kɔli from a diviner. He is grabbed on the way by the same dwarfs who keep him and Kɔli in two different apartments for a year. When both of them are set free, Alini is a completely changed man: thanks to the indoctrination of the dwarfs.
Alinia and Koli returned to Dodowa, their hometown, a wealthy couple through the influence of the dwarfs. The chiefs and people of Dodowa welcome them with drumming, dancing, and merry-making.
